The American Liver Foundation was created with one single purpose: To create a world without liver disease. That dream is a mission for 30 million Americans with liver disease and all those around the world that are also affected with it.
The organization, consisting of healthcare professionals and scientists, gathered to address the rising rate of liver disease and to raise awareness in an area of study that was lacking information by not only the general public, but also medical professionals.
The American Liver Foundation fights against liver disease by raising money for research, education for medical professionals, and information for patients and their loved ones.
This upcoming week, October 1st through October 3rd, in the Springs lobby from 10-1, Alpha Sigma Phi will be holding a bake sale and donation table to help raise money for the American Liver Foundation. Your help and assistance through the sale of baked goods and donations will help raise money for research and assist families in need.
