Despite being the better team in the first seventeen minutes, the Presbyterian Blue Hose lost to the East Tennessee Bucs on Saturday, September 16.
At the seventeen minute mark, PC’s #6, Tomas White, received a red card, forcing the Blue Hose to play with one less player.
Being one man down did not stop the Blue Hose, as captain Carson Griffith scored in minute 46 from a penalty kick.
Unfortunately, minutes before the second half ended, ETSU was able to score two goals back-to-back earning a lead in the game and handing the Blue Hose their third loss of the season.
The Blue Hose will be back at Martin Stadium on Tuesday, September 19 at 4 p.m. to face Jacksonville.
