During the fall semester of the school year, the Student Activities Board (SAB) is committed to opening an opportunity for PC students to get involved on campus and get to know each other sincerely as a part of being a Blue Hose. These two social events below were part of October’s student activities.
Street Signs – by Sara Elrod
Today, the Student Activity Board (SAB) hosted a custom street sign-making event. This event was held in the Springs Great Room and was filled with students wanting to showcase their creativity. While some went with tried and true Presbyterian College-themed signs, there was no shortage of creativity. Some of my personal favorites include Jellyfish Ln, Broken Dreams BLVD, and Dream House Drive (in Barbie pink, of course!). The event was a major success, thanks to the student helpers and SAB that made it happen!
Pumpkin painting- by Alexandrea Polinario
On October 31st, the Student Activities Board (SAB) organized a free pumpkin painting event for PC students in front of the Greenville Dining Hall building. This small fall-oriented event started at 5:00 p.m. and ended at 6:00 p.m. With the pleasant warm weather, PC students were able to paint their pumpkins outside while relieving schoolwork stress. Laughter and joy arose from the small group as they painted their individual pumpkins with vibrant colors. This gathering would not have been a success without SAB’s determination to arrange free social events for PC students.
