As the semester was winding down, PC students were able to attend a few events, one of which celebrated Earth Day.
On April 22, PC’s Ecology Club hosted an Earth Day festival from 1:00-4:00 PM on Neville’s lawn. The festival offered free plants to PC students, a flower crown making craft booth, freshly made grilled cheese sandwiches, and more. The Keep Laurens County Beautiful organization was also present at the event as well as a booth from the local gift shop Aspen and Figs selling pots and other plant-related items. Quiet Suns Productions performed music at the event, and cicadas and even a possum were also present.
PC students were able to hang out and celebrate this often-forgotten holiday before heading into final exams.
