On Friday, April 15th, the new members of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity were officially revealed at their probate. The probate, which was held in Belk Auditorium and lasted about an hour, was exciting and presented a different atmosphere than usual for Presbyterian College. The probate consisted of song and dance rituals that have been passed down throughout the years and were performed by each of the different guys. The ceremony started with five masked guys walking down each aisle stomping and chanting the words of their fraternity (the masks are used to conceal their identity up until the very end). After making their way onto the stage, the ceremony began with Steve Osondu singing to start the show. About ten minutes into the show, the current members of the fraternity revealed the faces of the ten new members.

With ten new members, this is one of the biggest lines ever here at PC. As everyone understands, this is an incredibly grueling process that spans over months and months and requires a great deal of time and effort. Congratulations, boys!
