Next Monday, March 26, students will have the opportunity to meet and hear from a candidate in South Carolina’s gubernatorial race, current Lieutenant Governor Kevin Bryant. This event is being hosted by the College Republicans and is free to students.

The meeting will be at 5 pm in the Harper Center. The College Republicans will also be holding their annual BBQ, catered by Midway BBQ.

Lt. Governor Bryant will be using this time to talk about the current happenings in the SC General Assembly and will also discuss issues that SC is facing. Bryant is the second speaker in the College Republican’s SC Gubernatorial Candidate Speaker Series.

“The goal is to have all republican candidates for governor on campus this semester,” College Republicans President Burke Long said.
