Are you ready, Blue Hose? PC is hosting the first pep rally of the year in advance of Parent’s Weekend and the football team’s first home game on Saturday.

The rally, sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement, was planned to get students revved up and excited for the coming academic year. A number of other organizations, such as the Dance team and the Cheerleading team, are pitching in to help during the rally.

The goal of the pep rally is to help new freshmen get excited about a lot of the programs PC has to offer, such as greek life and intramural sports.

Students will celebrate being a Blue Hose by running through a tunnel of their peers. They will also receive a free T-shirt. The rally is this Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in Mabry-Smith-Yonce.
