With numerous major cards, general education requirements and eight semesters of multi-faceted classes, it’s only a matter of time before a student gets upset, develops a question or has a comment regarding some aspect of the academics at Presbyterian College.

Understanding that it may be difficult to approach any of the leaders within the PC administration, PC’s Student Government Association has set aside a special committee within SGA to handle any necessary relations between the student body and the faculty in charge of academics. The Academic Affairs Committee meets bi-weekly and focuses exclusively on issues that have been brought to the committee members by fellow students. The concerns are then discussed in a meeting, organized and directly discussed in a special meeting with the Provost.

While it may seem daunting to relay your concerns and frustrations, the Academic Affairs Committee is composed of only five people: The Executive Vice President of the Student Body and the four Vice Presidents of each of the classes presently enrolled at PC.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns or frustrations regarding your academics, the Academic Affairs Committee would love to speak with you!

Here are the five current members of the committee:

Executive Vice President of the Student Body: Madison Lord

Class of 2023 Vice President: Mary-Charlotte Dusa

Class of 2022 Vice President: Stephen Josey

Class of 2021 Vice President: Bryce Weber

Class of 2020 Vice President: Jake Dyer
