Any matchup between the Presbyterian College Blue Hose and the Wofford Terriers have been a major key contributor for both schools’ success on the athletic side, with their teams battling each other for the last several decades for recruits across South Carolina and the Southeastern United States.

For the Blue Hose women’s lacrosse team, they will have their own bragging rights over the Terriers for the next year.

With help from NaQuia Hall’s four-goal performance and Lilly Phillips’ 11 saves, PC defeated Wofford 12-8 Wednesday night to capture their first Big South conference win in two years. The Blue Hose also doubled their total number of wins (four) compared to last year’s 2-15 record with several remaining games left on the schedule.

Aside from Hall, five different PC players also scored at least one goal on the night as well.

The Blue Hose will head to the Commonwealth of Virginia Saturday afternoon to take on the Radford Highlanders for a 1:00 p.m match.
