Last month, students at Presbyterian College had the opportunity to explore a strong line of different cultures at the school’s Multicultural Mixer event.

Hosted on April 19th, the Multicultural Mixer was created by PC’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion division, Student Activities Board, and student Simmie Chhatwal to highlight various identities and social groups throughout campus. Various groups of students, faculty, family, and friends took part in the celebration to share their cultures with each other.

Participants that volunteered to represent their culture could choose whatever form of presentation such as posters with information about their country, artifacts, food, drinks, and dance. Some of the cultures that were present at the event included China, Ukraine, India, Mexico, South Korea, and various others.
