A hard-fought, valid effort was present for the Presbyterian College women’s soccer team, but ultimately came up short in the end to the Davidson Wildcats 2-1 Sunday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half, Kori Lawrence scored a goal to put the Blue Hose (0-2, 0-0) up 1-0 near the 47:00 minute mark before two Davidson goals from Charlotte Snead and Lilly Lovell earned the victory for the Wildcats (1-0-1, 0-0) in the second half.
PC will be back at home for another contest against East Tennessee State Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
