To welcome the spirit of Halloween, the Student Activities Board (SAB) hosted a spooktacular arts and crafts event on October 9th in Springs Great Room from 7pm to 8:30pm. The thrifted paintings became the centerpiece of the night, and everyone is encouraged to create ghoulish creatures on the thrifted paintings. To illustrate further, there are a variety of acrylic paints to choose from as well to create colorful masterpieces. The event also featured small wooden Halloween crafts that you can paint on and DIY miniature pumpkin wind chimes that you can assemble. All of the art supplies are provided to the attendees. In addition to that, the classic Halloween movie Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton sets the ghostly atmosphere as it was playing in the background.
